Dr Beat Müller elected as the new president

At its Annual General Meeting on 28 May 2026, The Swiss Cosmetic and Detergent Association unanimously elected Dr Beat Müller as its new president.

At its Annual General Meeting on 28 May 2026, The Swiss Cosmetic and Detergent Association (SKW) elected Dr Beat Müller as its new President. With him, an experienced leader with in-depth industry and association expertise takes the helm.
 

Beat Müller holds a PhD in Chemistry from ETH Zurich and an Executive MBA. He has been CTO of Louis Widmer SA since 2020, where his responsibilities include production, research and development, and regulatory affairs. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Dow Chemical, Mibelle Cosmetics and Steinfels Swiss. Dr Müller has had close ties with the SKW for over 25 years, including as a technical advisor and as a member of the Executive Board and the Executive Committee. His many years of experience within the association and the industry provide a solid foundation for further developing the SKW in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
