We are full members of the European umbrella associations «Cosmetics Europe» and «A.I.S.E.». We also work very closely with the German-speaking partners associations IKW (Germany) and FCIO (Austria).

International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products
The SKW is a full member of the European umbrella organisation of the Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products with its seat in Brussels. Co-operation: co-ordination of work carried out by national associations in the fields of legislation, technical engineering and communication; various pan-European sustainability projects (e.g. «Charter for Sustainable Cleaning»).

The personal care association
The SKW is a full member of the European umbrella organisation for the cosmetics, toiletry and perfumery industry with its seat in Brussels. Co-ordination of work carried out by national associations in the fields of legislation, technical engineering and communication; various pan-European projects, e.g. for validated alternatives to animal testing in the research programme LRSS (Long Range Science Strategy).
The Association of the Austrian Chemical Industry
Department of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) which co-operates with SKW in many areas (e.g. legislation, technical matters and communication).
Human and Environmental Risk Assessment
The HERA Projects provides a common risk assessment framework for the ingredients of household cleaning products and detergents, both regarding their impacts on humans and on the environment.
German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association
German national association which co-operates with SKW in many areas (e.g. legislation, technical issues and communication).
Personal Care Products Council
The Personal Care Products Council is the leading US trade association representing the global cosmetics and personal care products industry with its seat in Washington, DC, USA. PCPC offers a wide range of services for companies and partner associations. The SKW is actively engaged with the PCPC in the fields of «Global Regulatory» and on technical issues.
